Quality and content of DELTA's "Laserlight" discs varies from excellent to "what the heck?"
AMERICAN FOLK LEGENDS is definitely one of their better offerings. Stereo audio is uniformly clear, dynamic and full range. The performances are skillful and by turn humorous, pensive or spirited. Highly recommended for all folk fans.

Originally released in 1985, Greg Brown's IN THE DARK WITH YOU remains one of the great modern works of this genre.

Playing dobro on Tom Paxton's sides is David Bromberg.
The other survivng Chapin Brother, Steve provides back-up vocal on "Song For Bonnie."
The two Pete Seeger selections were recorded at Chicago's People's Church.
