This is my first guitar so I couldn't compare it with others, but it sounds lovely. And it's easy to tune it, too. The action might be a little high like some reviews said, because it hurts a lot to press the strings. But again it could be just my experience as a beginner. Overall I think it's a good buy.

I bought this guitar for my husband who wanted to learn how to play. He really likes it and I think will get a lot of use out of the guitar. The tuner and learn to play dvd aren't as good as the ones that comes standard on our Mac, but it's okay.

I purchased this item as a gift for my 16 daughter who said she wanted a guitar. The accessories that come with the guitar are wonderful. You would end up paying a whole lot more if you had to buy them extra. She loves the guitar. It is great for a beginner or for someone who is advancing. The sound is beautiful and the quality of the guitar itself is very high.

I bought this guitar for my boyfriend for christmas and he absolutely loves it. The instructional dvd is very helpful and the tuner worked perfectly. Everyone that has come over has to pick it up and start playing. I priced out many other guitars on here by big names as well and this was the best deal.

I got this a couple months ago as my first guitar, and at first I was very pleased with it. Once you get it tuned properly it produces a good sound just strumming the strings openly. But as you get better and begin to play more complicated chords and songs, the flaws of this guitar become clear. The action is very poor, and the frets are cheap, as you would expect for the price. The fretboard of my guitar is fairly smooth and comfortable for a guitar of this class, but I know three other people who have this guitar and each one feels different, and the wood on theirs was rougher, so who knows what you will get. However, this is a good guitar for a beginner to learn on, especially because the entire package is a great deal. I've seen complaints about the tuner, but mine works fine. The bag provided is truly a waste, it does nothing for protecting the guitar, so if you plan on moving it around a lot you should consider buying a padded gig bag separately. I haven't used the strap much, but beware that the strap holder on the bottom comes out very easily. I didn't use the second set of strings they provided, so I can't really speak on that (I purchased Ernie Ball Earthwoods, which I would highly recommend). Basically, if you are just starting out this is a good package for you to get, but if you have experience I suggest you spend the extra cash and get a higher quality guitar, it makes a big difference.
